I must have bad luck when it comes to dental work. I went into my dentist's office today for a simple filling. He gave me a shot of Novocaine and kept asking me whether or not I was numb. I kept telling him, "a little bit." Anyway, he starts drilling and I basically jumped in my seat. Then he asks, sounding surprised, "Are you feeling this?" while simultaneously pulling the drill out of my mouth.
"Yes!" I replied as best I could with some contraption still hanging out of the left side of my mouth. And I knew immediately when he pulled the drill out of my mouth (drill still set on high speed), he swiped my bottom lip.
I'm now back at work with a not-so-small cut on my not-so-small recently fattened lip.
I have a party to attend tomorrow night. I just hope I can hide this by then. :( BOO HOO
Now I know why it's been a while since I went to the dentist. Somehow, it's never a good experience for me.
